To make this plain we do not hide from our sins, our weakness or failngs , we confess them unto Christ our High Priest that THE POWER OF CHRIST MAY REST ON US
He that covereth his sins SHALL NOT PROSPER: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them SHALL HAVE MERCY Proverbs 28:13
THAT HIS MERCY IS ON US
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we CONFESS OUR SINS, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to CLEANSE US from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:8-9
AND THAT HE CLEANSES US FROM SIN WITHIN OUR HEDGES
If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and MEET FOR THE MASTER'S USE, and
PREPARED UNTO EVERY GOOD WORK.
